Happy Mother's Day! I promised I'd show a full preview of my fairy tale unit. We are having so much fun with this. We will be doing more fairy tale activities this week because there is so much to choose from!

  6. My favorite is probably Lon Po Po the Chinese version of Little Red Riding Hood but I also love the Mufaros beautiful daughters and the wolf version of the three little pigs. Just too many to choose from.

  7. I loved the Grimm's version of Cinderella when I taught sixth grade. (The sisters cut off their toes and heels to fit the slipper and at the end the birds peck their eyes out. Yeah, I had those kids eating out of my hand for our fairy tale unit1) Actually, fairy tales were originally written to scare children into being good...but they only know the sappy Disney-fied versions!
