February Literacy Center Menu

In case you're looking ahead already to February, here is a preview of my February center menu. 

Read, Think Match (2 choices, one with fewer clues and pictures)

Read and Sequence: How to Build a Snowman and How to make cupcakes

Read, Visualize Draw: Snowy Day scene and mystery valentine

Rebuild a Poem: student sheets and pocket chart pieces

 Sorting Station: Sort pictures by vowel sound (short or long)

Compound Cupcakes: match top to bottom to make compound words

Slide-a-Word: Use the sliders to make real words

How to Build a Snowman writing and What I Like Writing page

Sticker Story: 2 student sheets

Describe a picture: 4 pictures and student sheet

Sentence Enders: question or statement (my class still needs work with this one!)

Word Endings: ed or ing

Glue a sentence (2 student sheets)

Sentence Scrambler

Extras (not on menu) for early finishers: Post office prompts and student paper and Buddy Reading forms
