Happy New Year! For those of you who are already back to school, I hope you are having a great week! I don't go back until Monday and, as much as I love teaching, I am LOVING my time off. I'm hoping for some snow to finish up my break, but the odds are against me! Even though we don't get a lot of snow here, I still love some good snowy-related school activities! I made this ready-to-go snowy reading pack to use during these next couple winter months.
Here's a quick preview:
I will use these comprehension passages mostly during guided reading groups, but they can also be used as independent activities, whole class lessons, or even for homework. There are different levels for each passage, comprehension questions, and a graphic organizer for each.
You can get this by clicking on one of the buttons below.
and just for fun...

Shawn loves everything about the snow!
My little angel:)
and yes, he's wearing girl snowsuit and gloves. You do what you gotta do when you take a last minute trip to the mountain and have no snow gear. Luckily he didn't seem to notice yet... :)
