Here's a quick freebie for you to use with your reading groups or for your early finishers. It's a great way to practice positional words and building sentences that make sense.
We also wrote letters to Jesus (we're a Catholic school) and hung them up as a bulletin board. This was a great way to review letter writing! We read the Jolly Christmas Postman to get us excited about writing our letters. If I wasn't at a Catholic School, I'd probably do letters to Santa or thank you letters.
